After nearly 2 and a half year wait, I finally have my hands on the new Atari VCS. This was a Indiegogo funded campaign that had a long journey to final production. Yeah, I got one too john! I got a real kick out of playing the Atari arcade games! Also on VCS vault 2 they offer 5200 games, which I thought was awesome as I haven't had a chance to play that Atari consoles library until now! I'm officially a 5200 fan now!

Didn't know you got itJohn! I do remember you was down on it a while back. I got mine but haven't went and picked it up at my shipping address. So far I see quite a bit of value here especially when the store grows. I see value especially if Atari continues to support it heavily.

I got mine December 24th! The setup reminded me this is a modern console with all the updates it had to do before I could get to the main menu!

I am an early backer, and the thing arrived... and what can I say - IT`S AWESOME! The haptic and feel of controller and console (its TINY!) are really something absolutely new, and playing old games with the retro controller is great! Atari has to come up with some more software, then the VCS will be the coolest (not the best) console on the whole market!

It's at a decent price in Walmart for the Atari VCS 800 Onyx Base model. $279.99 = £204 equivalent in UK so a great deal! If Atari want to sell millions they can slightly reduce the price to around $245/£179 and will sell like hot cakes in the US/UK.

The possibilities are endless for this unique Atari VCS PC/Console!
I have seen others upgrade to 32GB mem and running at 3200mhz (not standard 2400mhz, plus assigning more video mem from 2GB to 4GB). The BIOS password is available now and others are fine tuning their Atari VCS!
