I try to always cut to the middle and then cut from the other direction back to the middle. This helps me to not cut outside the box and mess up the wall.

Do you have recommendation for what kind of plate of box for speaker wire? Should I use low voltage or standard boxes?

While this results in a clean appearance, it leaves a bigger hole in the drywall than what is needed for a coaxial cable. This introduces air leaks and paths for insects. What are other options for a clean coaxial installation that has better seals? Or do gaskets exist for these boxes?

Most people run the low voltage 6" to 1' away from high voltage (50v+) to avoid signal interfere

first time I have even seen duplex work box mounted horizontally. What is the advantage of that? looks amateurish I don't know that lined electrician would do that?

i have noticed when i used these low voltage mounting brackets in my RV when attaching the face plate it is not flush with the wall, there is a little gap between the face plate and the wall, is this normal ??
