I'd like this comment section to know that Boris resigned only after more than A THIRD OF HIS GOVERNMENT RESIGNED IN 48 HOURS. Government meetings were canceled because there was literally nobody in those departments anymore. Michael Gove was going to resign but Boris sacked him instead. This was not a graceful resignation from power, this is a humiliating defeat and Boris is paying the price in full. Larry the Cat for PM.

Everyone praising him for leaving doesn’t realize that he had MULTIPLE scandals and calls to resign, but he stubbornly held on cuz he was power hungry, and even now wasn’t planning to leave even when a ton of his cabinet was resigning in protest. He gets no cookies from me

As an American I'm often impressed when I see how UK politicians conduct themselves, they seem much more real/relatable and I like watching the way they debate in parliament
