At first I thought, clearly functional as they are wearing baseball caps but certainly does nothing good for the looks. Still, I'd rather this than always wearing a full face-shield helmet. Then it hit me, most people that can afford one aren't going to drive it on the street anyways. This is a purpose built track toy so you'll be wearing a helmet. Screw the windshield!
