I've got a very similar trailer to this, and I stopped a lot of the rattling by chopping-up an empty plastic carton (like you get if you buy milk or orange-juice) and using an office type hole-punch I made holes in the pieces so that I had around two-dozen diy "washers" or spacers.
Then I placed them between the metal (top and bottom of each joint) before pushing the connecting-pins back through, and it works well. I did try the same thing with a chopped-up old innertube, but the rubber tends to grip onto the metal pins when pushing them through, so I scrapped that idea.

I have been searching for a trailer for a month now. I need to say something here. Something that is important. All videos I have looked at skip right by the trailer attachment. I don’t know why they do that. Sure show us the wonderful trailer but how does it connect to our individual bikes. Are you aware as to how many different styles there are- not to mention e-bikes! Bikes with fatter lugs and a fender screw that comes close to the lug bolt. Nexus bolts and those with thru axle bolts are just to mention two. Why would I buy a bike with out seeing clearly and this means your stopping for a moment on the lug before, during and after-whether I can properly connect it. Some of this stuff cost $400 or more!
Know you are not my shit list just frustrated as hell. Cudo’s to the few who took a moment yet even they failed to detail this so important part of the sell and buy. If your out there reading this thanks for listening.

In the 1970s a friend had something called a 'bike hod' which consisted of a similar platform but with an arched tow arm that attached to the saddle stem on the bike. It would carry an imperial hundredweight of 8 stone or 112 pounds (50.80 kg). The wheels were standard spoked bike wheels of the time but smaller than a standard bike. It seemed pretty solid and he liked it.

Any idea why trailers like this always seen to have the trailer axle quite far back on the frame putting more weight than necessary on to the rear axle and spokes of the bike? I had a trailer that had the axle in the centre thus putting most load on the trailer itself and it towed fine, in fact even fully loaded you hardly knew it was there.

Just ordered this and I see they have moved up the wheels a bit more towards the center. Unless this is a different model of Aosom? I had what was "supposedly" 130lb capable one on my Amazon watch list, then it changed to something else and now says 88lbs and no Aosom trailer on Amazon (Canada) now claims to have a capacity of higher than that (no trailer of any brand, period). And it seems like the one that "used to" say 130lbs weeks ago from Aosom, I "think" had the wheels set further back like yours? Not sure, what weight did your's claim it could hold? Oh well, at least I know I will be getting a half decent trailer either way, by the looks of it. Either the seller (Aosom Canada) doesn't have them/make the supposedly bigger ones anymore, or they lied and were forced to change their description to the truth.

Would this cargo trailer fit a months worth of groceries in it? I have panniers and have ran out of room very fast so because I don't have a car I've been looking for cargo trailers since everybody in my family tends to be so tied up till no one wants to take me grocery shopping.

How does the hitch work on these things? Can you adjust it to make it level on 16” wheels?

Understand that the locking pin is key central when buying one of these. Think about it...different bikes have different fits.

Any chance you can do a test to see what it can take in weight, it says 50 kg but I think it could take more, if it breaks, the weakest link will be exposed and could be beefed up to handle it ? I'm going to buy one in 2 weeks, I want it to go fishing so will be taking 150kg min

I've been scoping out these cargo trailers on Temu.
I would hook it up to my mongoose fat tire bicycle.
If they had a longer one then I could tow a small dirtbike to the fairgrounds track.

Looks great what about weather protection do wrap a waterproof cover and use a bungee cord etc to hold a cover in place and looks like there's plenty of places to use locks straps to secure ur items 👍👍👍

If the wheels were forward every time you stopped your bike would go up in the air. I have the same trailer plus a single wheel one.
