The Disappearing Woman Caught on Camera

This is security camera footage of a woman disappearing as she's walking past someone's front yard. Is she a ghost or is it something else?

The way camera's work is they capture a number of photons per pixel before accepting its value.
It then blends that into the previous image to make sense out of the little data it has.
Notice how *she* is dark, and the stuff behind her is bright. As she walks into the shadow, her pixel density reaches the same density as the background and thus gets dithered away by the software.
The amount of pixels that represented her got cut in half at discrete steps, continuously, but still affected the next images slightly because she was really still there.
