Trying to justify this is just plain out of touch in my honest opinion, plus the fact that the mythic shop exists removes the entire value of mythics in the first place, they used to say hey i participated and completed the battlepass in X season, now theyre just reciepts for an overpriced purchase or wasted time lmao none of them even look good

What would have been interesting is if you would buy the base mythic and to unlock the other styles you would have to level up the character, for example you buy the Moira mythic and to unlock the other styles you have to get moira to lets say level 30 to unlock all the styles that means every 10 levels you unlock a set of customizations

The Mercy one is 80.
50 for base. 10 for each level of customization up to level 4, (x30 shards).

The battlepass only gives 80, therefore no catch-up mechanic. And to buy prisms you have to buy the $100 bundle in order to get enough to fully max out a single mythic skin.
It's absolutely atrocious. Unbelievably greedy.

And you're telling me with all that money, they cancelled our PvE?... I just dunno.

I can tell the devs are trying, but the higher ups are ruining this IP and it sucks.

Honestly think that the mythic shop is a good quality of life change for if there are mythics (like Orisa's) that you just would rather not.
However, I think the ratio of cost to currency for the prisms are way too high. Even then too, Mythics like Hanzo are 70 prisms but only have 2 customization catagories with 3 colors and 2 bows.
Personally I'm going to continue to use Prisms on the current mythics that come out unless I dislike them that much or have little customization, but thats just me.

I think it’s ridiculous to have to use the tokens for the current season of the mythic. I thought this would only be for past skins and you would still just earn the current mythic in the battle pass. Which makes sense way more than having to do this bs now!

Like, if you missed your chance on past mythics (like I did for the first 3 seasons) I can make sense of earning tokens to buy them. but the current season you have to do that as well?? It just seems like it’s taking away what you earn in the battle pass, especially if you can only afford the 10 dollar regular pass.

the price is so wack. i think the base model (50 prisms) should be worth, like, maximum $20 USD. coming from someone who has bought 6 passes and owns those Mythics. by that rate, $32 USD for a full Mythic skins is still quite a lot.

People forgot that not spending is an option and since ow2 is f2p it’s going to be hard for the devs to maintain especially when they are paid less bcs of blizzards policy on salary (tl:dr if their game doesn’t do well they get paid a lot less compared to other devs) it also help that you can get bp for free if u just do enough weekly i am not supporting blizzard but simply this is the ow2 devs only way of making revenue

PS if u dont want to read all that its just cosmetics you dont have to buy it and u can save for free bp anyways even tho it takes a while
