And then today, I stumbled upon this. Your version is epic. Your voice is epic. It brought me to tears. And not watery eyes … but real tears. And goosebumps. Be proud of this. It’s gorgeous.

When I was growing up in the 60s, I remember that at Christmas time we sat by the fireplace and dad put on Jussi Björling's O holy night, I was probably 6-7 years old and I remember how his voice gave me goosebumps, now almost 60 years later I get the same feeling when Erik sings, Jussi was one of the world's best tenors, Erik is one of the world's best vocalists!🫶🏻

My father used to have the most beautiful smooth Bass voice and every Christmas he would sing O Holy Night. I remember sitting in the Pew listening to him sing it and it was like I was just mesmerized when I was a young child. I am almost 73 years old now and of course he is not with us now. While I was growing up I loved to hear him sing just as much as when I was a child. He was the most kind and compassionate man that I have ever known. I always felt proud that he was my father. He was my mentor and my best friend. He was my pastor and I was so proud to be his daughter. Thank you Erik for singing this song. I'm still listening to it way past Christmas time. It has given me so much joy and so many wonderful memories of my dad. I have never heard anyone sing it as well and powerful as you. Accept my Dad course.

The best singer to sing this song, absolutly gorgeous, what a voice, such passion. I'm 90 years old so I've heard alot of renditions . This beats all of them, this is so wonderful. His voice is magnificent, he hit every note as it was written to be sung, God bless him and that beautiful, beautiful voice God gave him.
