I had to resort to this when I ordered McDonald's the the food was all stale and borderline inedible (my fault really, late at night), if you say there's quality issues you only get half back.

If you say you received the wrong order you generally get the money back, would never do this for no reason but it's a good option if the food you get is subpar

Dasher’s, if you see this, this is why you take a picture of every single order, and text the picture to the customer in the in app chat. Support can see those, and customers know that. Even the hand it to me’s. Tell them you have to take a picture. If they turn around and walk away, report their ass. Most of the time even these scumbags will accept their fate, and realize they better not mess with you.

refund declined unfairly when store wasnt responding to order for long time and no driver attached very late at night & another time with video proof where driver took meal back with them, they use A.I. to block u reaching customer service, lets just go back to picking stuff up ourselves

If you put the order never arrived, Dashers get a contract violation. Please say the truth! Don’t order from fast food places that you know FOR A FACT are going to give you very cold food - (McDonald’s, Taco Bell, etc etc. ) drive and get the food yourself. Too many Dashers getting deactivated for lying customers. If your food is stale or cold then list that in the dash app. We Dashers record the food being delivered and even record YOU picking it up outside your door. Then you wonder why you have to use a pin and sign for each meal, ITS BECAUSE YOU LIE. Think about it, we r just trying to feed our families and pay the bills.

Dashers in my area never arrive, never get a refund for that, get orders from wrong restaurants- no refund, get bad food, either undercooked/almost raw or or missing items(restaurants fault)- no refund, And we you contact their customer service they actually will say 'it's not our problem and no refund will be issued'-- gave them another chance tonight and it happened again- all my food had been spilled in the bag, including my milkshake. driver gave me a plastic bag with this nasty soup combo- didn't say a word and was gone- DD customer service said-'no refund, not our problem'!

I do this because the Door Dash system of refunds is jacked up. If my pizza arrives cold and inedible, they’ll give you a partial refund on the price of the pizza. If my coffee drink is spilled, which happens to me 25 percent of the time, it’s a partial refund. But you’re still paying for all of the dramatic up charges, tax, fees, tips, and it doesn’t amount to much. Why should I pay ANYTHING for a spilled drink?

If I order taco sauce from Taco Bell and they forget it, which essentially makes the tacos inedible to me, there is zero refund because the sauce is complimentary. But I have to throw away 10 tacos now that I don’t want. Should I just take the L?

Drivers constantly make mistakes, leave food where it doesn’t belong, cannot communicate in English. When I’m paying $80 for $20 worth of food, and it’s not right, I’m getting my money back.
