Loved the idea to use a sub 20Hz wave as triggers and then playing chords to create polyrhythms. I think I know which Adam Neely video you refered to, but I can't remember the title.
This idea remembers me of a video from underdog electronic music school where he used barely audible waves in combination with a normal audible sub to make it seem like the sub is even deeper than it actually is. The video is called: "How do you make the deepest bass"
