There is an (easy) answer. If Government, States, city officials would comply. They should limit the amount of homes and land one person or family can own. Also, the SIZE of a home. Per individual or family. Its called in equality in this capitalistic society.

My son and his family moved there last year. They have 2 small children and just love it there. Hope to be visiting soon.

Used to live in North Bend but it became insanely crowded!
They didn't build anything else but more houses. So it's the same small little town but insane amount of people.
You're battling crowds wherever you go.
You move to a small town to get away from all that but now it's on another level they just won't stop building houses!
There's so many other places that are diamonds in the rough all over Washington, North Bend is not that anymore.

After thinking about living there, it wouldn’t be enough for me. What is good for is a seasonal day trip. You need two miles long of Condos fairly priced. Price gouging is not a fan of me. Not enough of the mountain range showing.

I just checked real estate listings, and it looks like the #1 reason to not move there is not being a millionaire. Sad.

I grew up here, and too many people have moved here! Traffic has gotten a lot worse, and so has crime! The scenery is not as pretty as it used to be because so many trees have been knocked down for new homes! The only homes that are affordable these days are extreme fixer-uppers! Don't move here! We already have too many here!
