I had never heard the term regenerative living until today, I do believe it sums up my attempt to live in harmony with the world, I have built a life of little waste and plant and encourage biodiversity at every opportunity, I reuse as much of society's rubish to build my self sustaining life, thank you for posting this and introducing me to the term

Goregoues, beautiful and inspiring - the speaker’s words and the environment surrounding her in this video. Regenerative - yes, that is the operative word - the kind of action and commitment we each need to pledge and do.

I read about an elementary school teacher years ago who gave each child a hula hoop. Each day, the entire class would go outside in the “empty” field beside the school building. Each child had a spot - the same spot each day - where they would lay their hula hoop. They then observed and recorded what they noticed inside their hula hoop are. They kept observational journals to record what they noticed and wondered each day about “their” circular patch of the earth. They did this - going out, placing their hula hoop in the same spot, observed and recorded their observations and wondering so. At the end of the school year, through this very simple but profound experience, the children came to see that even in their “small space”the children What a true teacher - in every sense of the word! My heart is with you... I understand. I am a member of a bush regeneration group in my region. I believe in giving back.I am also a wildlife keeper of rescued native creatures. I adore this Earth..it is our only home...we have nowhere else to go. I owe this planet..it has sustained me but yes, humankind behaves, at times, like voracious locusts that devour everything in their wake .. but.I have hope.

Addition to my last comment ... I accidentally sent it before I finished it - my apologies ...

The children learned that there would never be enough time to learn about everything that was happening in their small “hula hoop area.” They learned that the natural world is complex and stunningly interconnected to everything else. And on and on.

What a true teacher - in every sense of the word! For me, this beautiful video speaks to that same sense of beauty, complexity and inter-connectedness. Thank you, as always for bringing these inspirations and breathtakingly moving videos to the world.
