I began this audiobook project some years ago when some friends of mine jokingly said they'd read A Song of Ice and Fire (my favorite fantasy series) if I personally recorded the whole series in audiobook form and sent it to them. Having now made my way almost through the first two books in the series, I decided to join the small community of people who post their own amateur audibook readings to youtube, and share my efforts.

I have no intention of profiting off of the work that is copyrighted to George RR Martin. This upload is a tribute to a series I deeply love, and I strongly encourage you to purchase these books. You won't regret it.

9:36 Everyone (including Tyrion) calls him a lustful beast but his real hobby is reading. I know the fandom like to say "Tyrion is disliked for his character and not because he is a dwarf/ugly" but moments like this contradict this. Tyrion has a lot of qualities and hobbies that are not acknowledged because HE IS UGLY, when people are biased against you there is nothing you will do that will make them be charitable to you, there is a lesson in that.

Btw i love all your creativity and i defend even your not so popular voices. But i really think oberyn needs a slightly colder and intense voice. Like almost as if he was the protagonist bit slightly darker. Sorry if that makes no semse. Love you

14:28 Tyrion did not care for Sansa, not that he was indifferent to her but she did not occupy much of his thought's. He wanted the marriage about as much as she did.

I pity Sansa, she is a child being forced to be family with the people who killed her family. If Sansa trusted Tyrion, I would pity her less because it shows she has learned nothing and Tyrion does not trust her either anyway.

Like most characters in this series I’m torn about Sansa. On one hand I feel bad for her and her situation. Even though she did kind of get herself into this situation. On the other hand she is kind of shallow and petty. She hated Tyrion from the start just because he’s ugly. He tried his hardest to help and protect her but all she could see was his looks. This doesn’t help Tyrion with his issues at all. Would be interesting if, after both of them learn and grow, GRRM reunites them.
