I'm a left arm leg spinner and I practiced bawling the leg spinner and the googly too. I haven't use it in a match yet but in the net right hand batters hit hard to my leg spinner. I understand the reason why, because it has lot of flight so that they have the time to play at it. Do you have any suggestions to bawl faster in the same action as a orthodox spinning action.

This is interesting... This is the first time I've seen anyone show a definitive visual explanation of the 'Slider'. My understanding having read many books on Wrist-spin bowling and watched literally hundreds of videos on the issue, the slider was simply an anomalous description of the Orthodox back-spinner - which this certainly isn't. Then there's Warne post career explanation of the Slider e.g. it was normally a big Leg-Break that simply skidded on probably due to the smooth side of the ball hitting the surface rather than the seam or one that was just released incorrectly due to cold fingers (Bowling in England). Who is the bowler in the video and who showed him this release? It looks more like the Iverson-Gleeson method from the 1950's which isn't a slider. I'd be very interested in seeing the source of this 'Slider' and where it originated.
