This was an awesome time in New York and the music scene! I was proud of New York and to be from New York.What a Place!! Today, it is a shadow of its former spirit and soul> All the folks that made NY a unique and magical city despite the edginess have been destroyed in one way or another. Of course some remain (hanging on by a thread) WE didnt realize fully what was being planned... what a sinister scheme TPTB played on authentic folks of New York (whites and Blacks) who were from here were not aware of the haters and the pending plans they had. New York is more than architecture and lights.. It was full of bold and beautifully flawed yet wonderful people. The robots can now REIGN! Realness is over. Glad I was there to witness it all.
