Thankyou for yet another fascinating revelation! Some of these remarkable little tips seem to have been hidden by Adobe as if they are “easter eggs” in a video game”!!!

I really like these little 2 mins tips. I've watched all the videos you've done on Mastering Lightroom. I've seen many others and I have to say that yours are the most detailed, well explained and precised I've seen. Thank you so much for the effort you put in them! Really appreciate it and learned a lot with them.

Great tip and I've used this in Lightroom frequently. I'm moving to ON1 (escaping subscription fees) and haven't found similar functionality. In ON1 I've been using "hold J and move the white or black slider until you see the clipping highlighted in red". Is there a more automated way to do this in ON1?

After using the AUTO button in Basic, I find that the Black and White values are adjusted as well. But then I go back and have to readjust then with the shift key. Not a big deal, but I just find this counter productive.

Thank you but it didn't work perfectly for me but it's possibly because I have Lightroom 6. The numbers were a bit off.

This doesn't work in ACR, however. I wonder why.

But it is not accurate enough, hold the alt +slider works better and it takes only 5 seconds more!😉

Tried it today. It was horrible. Everything went dull flat. I know you didn't invent this but it is not a good idea. Sorry.
