Lots of people seem to think that was a bad test. That looked great to me because the car front absorbed the impact like it is supposed to while the area around the driver appeared to stay structurally intact.

For how much they cost, I would expect the lambo to not only protect me in a crash, but actually allow me to leave the crash in better health. Perhaps it could perform orthopedic surgery on my back whilst crashing, or remove a bone spur in my knee. Or at the very least clean my teeth.

Lamborghini mercy(song..I'd cruise around listening to this song in my lamborghini if I won the lottery..lol). This is the most awesome car in history. Fell in love with this car when I seen the Cannonball run. Of course in reality the police radio is always faster than the car, but still an awesome display of power/performance. I would love to see someone who knows how to drive show the cops a thing or two and have a news chopper covering it in HD.

It's sort of funny how some people talk about how painful to watch this is and they're probably right because sometime we can't even afford a cheap car, but when it comes to science and improvement of technology and safe measures, that's a essencial part of everyday testing in not just insurance companies but in every car developer company as well and because of these sort of standards ands commitments many people save their lives every minute.  I remember hearing about how millions of dollars were expended just in investigation long before the air-bus plane was finally built and I couldn't believe it, so if its about save member of our families, friends or any other person who  gets involved into a car crush let it be, I hope they destroy every single lambo, honda, toyota they need to!

People stop saying this is a waste. They crash test to make the car safer. If the car is on the road then it has been crash tested ( at least in america im not sure about other countries). One test can save millions of lives.

most don't realize why they actually cost so much, this is the reason to make it survivable for anyone who is in it. if you look at stories like a guy crashed into a wall doing 120mph and walked away technically we pay for our normal day cars by safety star ratings so if you really wanna survive it is worth it to buy these exotic cars. (great reason when you are asking your wife or parents to buy one)

They must be tested like this if they are going to be sold in the US market. Anyone remember the horrid "bumpers" on the front and rear of the countach? they were added as an after thought to make the crash tests needed to be sold in the US.
