In a massive setback for former deputy chief minister of the capital, Manish Sisodia, a Delhi court denied his bail request on Friday. The AAP leader was denied bail in the Delhi Liquor Policy scam for which he is under ED and CBI's scrutiny over the alleged involvement. Sisodia "played the most crucial and vital part" in the criminal conspiracy, according to the court of special judge MK Nagpal, and was "deeply involved" in the creation and implementation of the policy to assure the accomplishment of the stated conspiracy's goals.
