Zack Snyder's Justice League aka The Snyder Cut has finally been released on HBO Max. And in this video, we are going to compare it to the Theatrical Joss Whedon Cut of Justice League from 2017.
Its Justice League vs Justice League. Is Zack Snyder's Justice League, The Snyder Cut superior to the Joss Whedon Justice League, or is it somehow worse?

WB: Zack we want you to make your justice league movie however you want, what you need?
Zack Snyder: The actors back, 70 milion dolars and a crowbar
WB: What do you need the crowbar for?
Zack Snyder: Joss Whedon

Flash saving the World by himself while all hope is gone is cool. But you know what's cooler ? Flash saving a random Russian family.

My god, could you IMAGINE if we got to see this in theaters in 2017?

Like Snyder said during the production of JL in 2016:
"Man of Steel is about father figures, BvS is about mother figures, & Justice League is about family."
And Snyder Cut is indeed feels like it's about family. We can see the journey of these ragtag team from different backgrounds, starts from not finding a common ground to finding the common ground & from sloppily fighting the bad guy to defeating the bad guy in a perfect sync. Snyder Cut feels like those superheroes are more than a team. They're a family.

Joss Whedon: Sees flash saving the world
Joss Whedon: Deletes that and adds flash pushing a truck
Joss Whedon: Now this is an avengers level threat

I went into the Snyder cut hearing “It’s still bad, it’s still not a good movie” but damn I was actually blown away, I was shocked at how much I actually enjoyed the film

“I’m not broken, and I’m not alone.”

This line hit me hard, triggered the water works and everything. To my surprise I looked around the room and not a single dry eye was present in that moment. I was not alone. Even right then and there. It really was an emotionally overwhelming moment for me. Loved this movie, and is everything I needed from this first DCEU attempt.

Imagine if this cut was released back then. Even at 4 hours, people would’ve been blown away in theaters. They could’ve put an intermission between each part or two for breaks, that would’ve been a unique experience 😮

Snyder's also explained why barry immediately accepted Bruce's proposal. Not just because "he needs friends" but because his father recently told him to make his own future and not just focus on earning money to be a criminal lawyer for his dad

24:00 you kinda left out the scene where Arthur is legit concerned about what they're asking Vic to do: a kid who just lost his father, to take on three of the most powerful machines of the universe. And when Barry tells him "I thought you didn't care", Arthur tells him "I...never said that".
This actually makes Jason's casting a giant plus-he looks and acts like a tough dude, but he definitely has a heart and does care, and is a lost soul. Spoke more volumes about his character than the stupid "lasso of truth" exposition BS scene.

The main thing I actually enjoyed more in Snyders version is that he actually established the other characters besides Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Especially Cyborg, who was basically absent in the whedon cut.

Whedon's version: 2 hours of horrible jokes and pointless scenes
Zack's version: 4 hours of an incredible story where every second has a meaning

Whedon's steppenwolf: a dude who cry for his mum
Zack's steppenwolf: a lost puppy who want to come home.

It's unfortunate Ezra is having the issues he's having. The scene in Snyders Cut completely redeemed the movie for me. I was already impressed, but it was one of those scenes that you're going to remember forever. Hope he can work out his personal issues.

8:35 Completely agree. Couldn't stand his version of Flash beforehand but that scene right there made me appreciate him as Flash. Maybe anybody could've done that part. But when he did it, being that I didn't like him as Flash, I was like okay, he'll work for The Flash. One of the best scenes in superhero cinema. I watch that scene repeatedly in the film. Junkie XL's score, the speed force, the emotion, what the Flash can truly do, the meanings and the heroism.... it can only be described as EPIC. Whedon's trash can't compare with this epic undertaking.

I can't stand Whedon. He clearly looked to butcher DC and he went full on hack with his ego & ugly personality. He couldn't have cared less about the product or the actors and staff as everyone did their best to be professional. Glad he didn't get away with it his garbage and Ray Fisher stood up to his foolishness and many others came around him and supported him and backed up what he was saying in telling the truth.
