How to rename a worksheet in Microsoft Excel

Naming worksheets with short, descriptive titles is best practice to help you and others understand how you have structured your file. This tutorial shows you how to rename worksheets.

1. Right-click on the worksheet that you want to rename, then select ‘rename’
2. The worksheet name will be highlighted – to rename simply start typing
