Its nice though to be able to create things yourself. Its not hard to become good at writing, but you need to find your favourite writers and absorb their patterns, then develop your own. Like you develop an opinion on writing and this becomes your writing style. The brain does the magic of applying unseen rules of that style which are just sense or sensation for you. Though you may develop the system or thesis of that writing style eventually.

What I like AI to do is index the research papers by section and paragraph numbers with a sentence or summary on that paragraph, that allows me to zone in on the areas without having to read everything.

An ideal AI would create a database of indexed papers. I like to read myself as I think the AI can lack depth and sensitivity my finer faculties possess. Like I can reflect in a deep slumber the things I read.

Although, I do agree with some other comments that the citation game needs to level up quite a bit but being a researcher, we also need to use AI by coupling it with our cognitive skills alongside. This website is really bad with picking citation out of PDFs. I’ve used it last week and it selects random paragraphs in the text that have no connection to what AI gives you
