In layman’s terms, this murder conviction is squashed(thrown out). He should be granted bail while the Jamaican courts decide whether they will retry or set him free….todays privy verdict doesn’t me that he is free. Reading and understanding is fundamental!

His lawyers presented strong points to the Privy Council which not only gave him a retrial but exposes the Jamaican Justice system as corrupt and bias in this particular situation. I applaud them for this, but on the other hand a retrial can definitely be a win for Vybz Kartel knowing the evidence that the prosecution has will not change but his lawyer using a different approach to prove his innocence.

Cut a long story short, the judge messed up with multiple issues, Therefore the recommendation is for the conviction is to be quashed and their appeal’s to be allowed within the courts of appeals Jamaica.

I’m not condoning what if Vybz kartel did kill the man, however the police and the court cannot convict a person by breaking the law. The big picture is if they are allowed to do so, we also could be subject to the same illegal actions that may cause your freedom or life. Cops should do their job within the law and if they acted outside of the law they are no better than the criminals themselves. Think about what I said and not just to catch the criminals by all means.
