One thing to note is that a float is actually bad when auto fishing because it actually makes the chance of getting prize fish lower, because rare fish and prize fish arent the same thing

Ngl I didnt know about the cron meal so thanks for that one.

But you did forget a bunch of very important things. Things ive learned these last days the hard way and losing alot of silver because of it.

1. DO MAGNUS. Its so important since u can then teleport to Seoul and get alot more value to your fish. From 10m a fish up to 40m+
2. If you plan to go out at sea try to get a level 49 character out there so you cannot be killed by other players, especially in events. Tips would be to make a bunch of lvl 49's and wait for events
3. Fishing tank. There's one you get for free(50 fish) and another one u can buy for pearls if you want to. The time of spoilage of the fish goes up to 5 days.
4. Always try to get to 1000 mastery if possible, that will help you ALOT.
5. Get a fairy to get Continuous Care(grade doesnt matter) and try to equip potions cron meals etc on there and she will automatically use those while you are AFK when they run out.
6. Brand the fishing rod, that will make it break alot slower and you wont need the epheria fishing rod at all
7. Polar bears and otters (probably something more too but idk rn) give you reduced afk fishing time. The max is 66.6%.

Idk if i covered most of it but yeah. I just started recently BDO again and wanted to do fishing and goddamn its SO MUCH to learn.

Hello! New player here, planning on doing an afk fishing alt, I have few question especially regarding the pearl shop item (the fish tank) do I need carry weight on my pg for that? Or does it have his own? Or none at all? I can’t find this info anywhere. Would be helpful to know so I can decide between Corsair or Shai for afk fishing
