The BEST festivities is on Nguyen Hue walking street in Ho Chi Minh City. This is the most spectacular display of flowers and cheerfulness as we enter the Year of the Tiger. I am very impressed by the hard work put into the decoration of the famous walking street. A truly impressive sight to behold on Nguyễn Huệ walking street, Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon), Vietnam. Tourists would have loved to see this!

Thank you very much everyone for all the love you send my way. I assure you, the feeling is mutual.

I am an American Expat in Ho Chi Minh City, (Saigon) Vietnam. (I dislike the word Expatriate). I have lived in Vietnam for 3 years, I am almost considered an expert at living abroad. As I live, work and travel in Vietnam and south east Asia, I want to take you around with me to show you what I saw in Vietnam, in South East Asia and talk with you about my experiences living in Saigon HCMC and take you with me as I travel vlog around Vietnam and South East Asia in 2022. I am not a backpacker but I started by wanting to backpack through South East Asia. I was going to just visit of vacation, but I was going to take part in tourism activities. I was going to be a globetrotting tourist but I never really planed to document mytravels. Was going to be a long holiday trip, maybe I would become a digital nomad. But I knew Vietnam would be my home when I got here, now Saigon is my home, where I work and live, but I still plan to motor bike across Asia, motovlog Vietnam, moto vlog South East Asia, dare I motorbike into China? And also fly around South East Asia, to tour and travel, But for now, this is my Vietnam life, my HCMC Saigon life, my expat life. I always thought living abroad would be scary, but it's interesting and fulfilling. The food is amazing, the culture is fascinating and the people are friendly and welcoming. If you ever wanted to take the leap to travel and live abroad, Tourism in Vietnam is buzzing right now since Vietnam reopens. I am often asked: are Vietnam borders open? Yes indeed, tourism reopened in 2022. Want to know what I saw in Vietnam and my life in HCMC Saigon. What I think about Vietnam and traveling and living abroad? What to do in Vietnam? How do live in Asia? What to do in Saigon? How to work, or work as a teacher in Asia? How to get a visa or what a digital nomads life could be like in Asia or Vietnam? What is it like to be an Expat in Vietnam and South East Asia? I am an expat, a Saigon Vlogger, a HCMC vlogger, a moto vlogger, a lifestyle vlogger, a digital nomad resource, a Saigon nightlife vlogger, an immigrant, a migrant worker. I make vlogma videos, (wth is vlogma) I want a daily vlog, but ain't got the time. But I can do a video diary, which makes me an online creator. Why anyone would watch vloggers as bad as me, I don't know. Sometimes I make food vlogs, foodporn? Did you know yum in Vietnams mean "horn..", well, neverminded. I hope you will feel encouraged by my channel. I will show you a lot of things like how to live abroad, how to be a digital nomad, how to work in Asia, how to experience Vietnam, how to make friends and build a life in Asia, how to enjoy the culture and food. How to be a gamer in Asia. How to live a life in Asia, like a normal person. How to be a happy person. I am not a Vietnam digital nomad in HCMC. But I know a few. Did you actually read all that? Tell me in the comments that you did and I will give you shoutout in my next video. Some keywords I like to include are: tet celebration tet holiday

@Bear Marica
I am Vietnamese American. I have been in the US most of my live (35 years to be exact). I love this (US) country, it's people, and its culture. Since I 've live most of my live here and has lot of American friends and surrounded by American neighbors. Sometimes I thought might know more American culture then I understand my Vietnamese culture. However, since Covid-19, I realized that there are things in American culture that I still very confuse. I always admired American people for there extra safety attitude compare to Vietnamese people. For example, when cut grass, my neighbor always wear ear muffs to protect his hearing from the lawn mower sound, and safety glasses for his eyes from the flying grasses, and gloves to protect what ever might cut his fingers. To the Vietnamese like myself, the risk of lost hearing from the the sound of the lawn mower or the lost of an eye from a flying grasses or whatever (since the deck of the lawn mower cover the entire blade area) or for the hands (which are far away from the motor) to get hurt is almost never happen. That is why I never wear any of these protections while cutting my grass. I do aware that in a very very very rare case accident does happen, and if it does, I might lost some of my hearing, or a cut to my hand or even blind an eye, but I am still 100% alive. But when it come to Covid-19, unlike a tiny risk from the lawn mower, I always wear mask to protect myself because I know that it is a very high risk for me to get covid-19 and might die as the result if I don't wear mask (especially when most people I run across don't wear mask). However, my American neighbor who is over protected for his eyes, his fingers, and his hearing, never care to wear a mask even he seen in the news that thousand of people died each day in the US from Covid-19. That part of the American culture and their thinking I am still very confuse. If any one can explain it to me, please do, so I can explain it to my kids when they ask me. Thank you!
* By the way, for the American person who mension that he/she already stop wearing the mask a year ago, and wondering if the Vietnamese going to wear the mask for the rest of there life? As a Vietnamese American, I can answer that question, for me personally, YES as long as it protect my life. Just as you might not like to wear seat-belt but I am sure you will still wear it for the rest of your life because you know it will protect your life. Now, most of the time while driving you might not even notice that you are wearing a seat-belt because you get so use to it. I also get use to wearing my mask so much that most of the time I am not aware that I have my mask on.
To me it is just like putting a pair of gloves on to protect my hands from the
freezing winter of Minneapolis, MN.
(This is just my personal opinion and I choose to wear mask. I know my neighbor choose not to wear mask and I might disagree with him on his choice. However, I still must respect his choice and like him no less, because this is the Great America with the freedom to choose for everyone).
