Is it really a paradox or rather a debate on semantics and how we structure language?

I 100% understand the thought behind this but in reality, there's more to it.
It's only a paradox if you stop at the point it appears to become one.
Is the statement itself false or is the meaning (Information being communicated)
of the statement false?
Is it always false or is it only false at the time of reading?
I have yet to hear an actual "real life" paradox.
The classic one, Which came first, chicken or egg? I have determined an Indisputable answer.

The "Wave function collapse" (superposition) "discovery" is simple too.
It's made complicated for no reason, you see examples of it everyday just never
thought about in the propper context.
This is another example of stopping the thought process when you get to a place
that seems "unknowable, ununderstandable" or "blow your mind" amazing.
Schrodinger understood this "thought process" logical fallacy. (I call it)
This "Schrodingers cat" thing is completly misunderstood.
This was simply Schrodinger way of describlng this "thought process" logical fallacy.
Just something to think about.

Even though the liar paradox challenges our truth and logic, but still our truth and logic is helping us in our day to day practical life as expected, which is (at least practically) enough for our real world/life events ( regarding its practical impacts).

Being a man of a simple mind that has got me through life to 78 years old. I try to stay away from feelings and try to find facts. A man of a simple mind and life can easily do this. If I catch myself trying to make my mind go where it shouldn’t go I stop it and stay simple. Like listening to music on LSD where you feel the music starting to take over your mind. (a very long time ago) You quickly take the headphones off and stop. Keeping a simple mind helps to keep my sanity. People that can keep the headphones on often times find new beginnings to their life. Some fail badly. Thank god for Elon who has kept his mind entirely open. A National Treasure.

It all depends if you are subjecting the content of the statement or the value of the statement. So the paradox is four cornered, not two sided.

I'm a complete liar. Everything I say is a lie, with the exception of that statement.

Well if i did a liar paradox in a OOP environment - then the program wouldnt work cause its not BASED ON LOGIC!

yea but that whole paradox has nothing to do with Elon Musk it was thought of back in like 300 BC by a Greek philosopher, forgot who exactly, but it was "I always tell lies" but, that statement itself isn't a lie, so again true/false paradox

I don't think a nonsensical sentence should be thought of as deep. The sentence is wrong not false or true.

all is RELATIVE to something//Truth or False relating to WHAT? /You have to use a criteria, just like in basic computing with 0 and 1 the treshhold is the value of volts where the input triggers from 0 to 1//So you make the rules upon you want to draw the conclusions/ If youre a technical mind there is no room for speculation.

It's not a paradox. It is true that this statement is false. Paradox solved!

the statement lacks a subject, therefor it's not even a complete sentence. derp duh derp

Why is this a thing? I am almost too bored to comment.

The liar paradox is piffle. It is complete nonsense and presents no challenge to logic or language. “This statement is false” is mere sophistry. The term “statement” in “this statement is false” is a set definition but without any members, i.e., no reference object. That is why it becomes self-referencing. Were it “this statement that the sky is green, is false” it would generate no paradoxical function. So it employs a term which is the name of set of “other words” and the statements which would be constructed of them rather than a member of it which would have been a previous utterance/reference object and thus there would be no paradox. One should demand upon hearing “this statement is false”…“prove it”. This of course would be impossible. If a professor were to demand that his class study the definitions on a page he handed out to everyone but which had only as a title, the word definition, would that be a construction which threatened our understanding of truth or logic? Of course not. This paradox is pure nonsense and Quine’s pronouncement of it as presenting a crisis of thought was equally ridiculous.

What do you think?

We should listen when one of the world's lying experts speaks. Just don't believe it.
