Love this as well, if you had a cutter like a cricut or scan n cut could template be cut with one of them? Maybe use adhesive vinyl as the template? Want to use this process for center block for a quilt for my son’s race car team

U could use shelf liner from the dollar store instead of duct tape

I like the streaks its cool .bleach will eat holes in a few minutes.

Freezer paper makes for a much easier stencil. Just cut it out and iron it on the fabric with a dry iron

Cricut makes a stencil material that should work fr this

DEFINITELY DILUTE THE BLEACH. 50/50 bleach/water is the suggested ratio.

The higher the bleach content, the faster that fabric will be holes.

This would be made much easier with a Cricut. It would save quite a bit of time as well.
