Hi Mark, I love getting trainees who call them flippers. There is always someone else in the group ready to correct them and say "They're called Normally I give it a minutes silence then ask who's Mammals have flippers and fish have fins, are we fish or mammals. Like the channel, would like to see a review on freediving fins sometime. G

These fins are an awful product. The design is flawed as the two vent holes that are on the top of the fin line up right with your toes and shred them. After less than an hour using them in the Indian Ocean (calm and serene) I have been left with torn skin on the tops of my toes.

When I reached out to Simply Scuba via Trust Pilot (their website won’t allow me to leave a review on the product) I was told that they should be worn with booties / socks. This comment goes against the product description listed on their own website….”The Full Foot design is better for warmer, less demanding waters as they're made to be worn barefoot.” I don’t think you can get a lot warmer or less demanding than a Maldives Island. No one on the whole island is wearing socks / booties whether wearing full foot or open heeled fins.

This description was used as guidance when purchasing the Viper 2 fins.

When highlighted Simply Scuba ignore this fact in both the Trust Pilot review and an email we sent them. I’m sure this product description will be altered (I have taken a screenshot for reference).

So please think of this when buying these fins using the product description Simply Scuba list in these. Maybe also think of the stance Simply Scuba have made when purchasing from them. Very upset.
