A Rushmore list is for creators of something new or for doing something great that created a really meaningful change to any given thing. So I get why he put them up there. Most think the Rushmore list of anything is just who their favorites are in that given thing. People do it with all types of media, they rattle off who they think is the best to them, but favorites are reserved for a top 5 or 10 list not a Rushmore rating.

You can't have a Mount Rushmore of hip-hop because there's so many people who should be up there breakers, graffiti artists, dj's, mc's. If people are truthful LL deserves to be on a list to be up there too.

I can't argue against LL Cool J's perspective of Hip Hop's nomination for Mt. Rushmore. He is making me think of mainly others than artists.
