Enjoy this remaster of the excellent Eagle Dynamics F-5E Remaster Trailer by Cato, X-Stounds, and Kieran, the amazing and talented trio behind all the ED DCS YouTube videos.

9,200 hours of work went into this upgrade, including testing, integration, and marketing. I had thought about getting it on sale a few times over the years, but wasn't sure. With the remaster, and at a good price, do you think I should pull the trigger.

This is an intense YouTube channel. You probably won’t like it. It is quite doubtful that you have the taste or sophistication to be able to appreciate content of this quality and depth. We would suggest that you stick to safer and more familiar territory—maybe something with a video-gamer approach aimed at convincing you that dogfighting is all that matters or one that implies that their videos are "must see" and you need to subscribe/whatever-the-hell will give you more sex appeal. I bought it last Christmass, left there to take dust on the shelf and recently revamped thanks to remastered version. Now I'm learning/studing it and have tons of fun!!! Absolutely worth the money👍

I had the original F-5E, added the F-5E FC, then packed in the F-5E-3 just recently. It’s a great little multi-mission, multi-national fighter. Love it!

I love Cold War era planes and own all Cold War DCS modules except for the Tiger II. For so reason beyond my comprehension, this plane and the F-104 Starfighter has never tickled my interest.

Absolutely, it's a fun jet to fly, and the remaster gives it a new lease of life, to me. I don't think you'll be disappointed if you decide to get it. It's well worth the money, in my opinion.

Also, have you noticed that ED has removed the China lake range on the new map? I'm pretty sure it was located around grid MV24.

Since this is your most recent video, I thought I would inquire here. Question regarding your flight chair - you mentioned that you added an additional cushion for the seat since it is Velcro-ed into place. Are the back seat cushons the same, so you could easily add more padding if needed? This seat seems to be the best fit and price point for my use case, and I do not want to spend exorbitant amounts for the Monstertech chair that is very overpriced for what it is. I fox 2ed this remaster and this is a good splash. not the best one, but good enought. everyboby says it is only a skin but it's false. it is a complete new aircraft. visuals are improved, sound is redesigned and richer. there are new shakes and new sounds in the cockpit. overall we have a slightly better feeling with the flight model. F5 was my second favorite aircraft and I sign to marry with him again for another 1000 hours of flight.

Juice can you find out if the RAZBAM issue will be settled in the near future? I know that’s not what you asked. The F-5E is a good light attack jet, so yes get it.

Don't do it. You will only get a few liveries (Grey, Mig-28, and 2 camo), and the canopy will be free of the plexiglass texture. It will also be very difficult to go back. Keep your original F5. At least until ED offers a sweeter deal.

The only nitpick I have with the remaster is that when they updated the 3D model, it made all the old repaints for the FF version unusable (the FC3 version still has all my old repaints, though).

"Remaster" might be a little too strong of a word in this situation.

Definitely yes, it may seem like a simple module if you are coming from fourth generation aircraft. But that may be precisely what makes it so much fun, especially if you play online and on PVP servers. For offline play I would probably not recommend it.
