The Beach Boys - Getcha Back (1985)

The Summer of '85 was incredible for me... I'd gotten my driver's license, I landed a weekly DJ gig, MTV was all about the music, and the music was amazing! From new and exciting synthpop, power pop, and hair metal, to old bands making a comeback, there wasn't much that 1985 could do wrong.

The Beach Boys teamed up with producer Steve Levine, who had helped Culture Club become a household name. The combination was as magical as the year it took place in - with this song being a big hit on both the radio and MTV, and defining, in part, the sound of the summer!

I'm not sure how it happened but for some reason when we got our first computer, it came (new) with every Beach Boys song ever already on it? I Hate The Beatles, But I show Due Loves Me Some Beach Boys!
