I still remember: queue rdf and after the Oculus loading screen there are only two people left in the group - you and a guy haven't loaded yet. And he leaves the group as soon as he realizes where he got into xD

You should be able to LOS the frost bomb since it is a targeted spell on the tank. Just tank the mage boss near one of the 3 little walls right at one the corners and when he starts to cast frost bomb, run out of LOS. You wont get a single frost bomb if you do it correctly

Cool. Some notes, though.

When tanking the mage boss, it's a good idea to keep him towards the outer edge of the ring. That way when he does arcane explosion, you guarantee that no one takes frost bomb damage while standing behind the pillar. Also on second boss, the beams go from the orbs to the boss, meaning the tank can reposition the boss such that no beams cross the middle of the room. This allows ranged dps to stand in the middle and pump without ever moving.

I ran 4 rubies and a resto shaman to get amber and emerald together multiple times. Stack the 4 rubies up near one of the floating lands and the resto shaman just chain heals them.

A note for the 3rd boss, kiting the frost bomb is pointless, he casts it so fast that by the time you are out of it, he's already casting a new one, either zerg him down with cooldowns while ranged/healers are outside the frostbomb so you only have to heal tank and melee, or preferably just LOS the frostbomb. The pillars you use to LOS the large arcane explosion can also be used to LOS the frostbomb cast, so every time the tank sees him casting it, he has it positioned so that he only needs to take a few steps to the side, breaking LOS to the boss, and preventing the boss from ever casting it, making it a straight tank and spank.

I’m digging the dungeon guides, it’s been a long time since I’ve done these. Would love to see a Naxx guide, obviously that would be a lot of work. I just haven’t been able to find any videos on wotlk naxx guides.

Thank goodness I'm going straight to 10 person raiding with guild after questing to level cap in WotLK (might do some dungeons with guildmates). Classic pugging is a nightmare & timesink thanks to the awful LFG channel, the modern player mindset/toxicity & no LFD tool.
