If I'm being honest, I definitely prefer rick, I just think the way the character is portrayed and written is far superior than Hopper, Rick also has a much better Character Arc than Hopper, hopper went from Cop, to cop who killed Creatures from another dimension, Rick went from cop, to a walking menace, he fr went from "we don't kill the living." to "Shit happens." Hoppers just a regular guy who got caught up in a bad situation. Rick is just better Imo.

Ricks been like stabbed, several times, shot, hurt very badly, and in the last episode he was in, . he got a hole in him from a pole and then got exploded AND SURVIVED, in time for him to get saved. All I know, hoppers been in a bunch of fights anddd… oh right he survived that one explosion and the Russian camp or whatever, but I think surviving a zombie apocalypse is worse. I could go on about the other topics but this is already a lot.

Actually I will go on, experience, yes they have both been cops but in like 3 yrs or smth hopper as done all that crazy stuff, but not every single dang day. Rick was a cop and has been in the apocalypse for 10 yrs or smth every DAY!

Imo, Rick is a better character in general, because hopper is just a cop who was killing creatures from some dimension, but Rick was a cop and turned into a a hero and a killer. I agree that Rick had the better show but Rick had much more IQ then hopper because hopper has only been fighting for a few years(according to the show and the seasons) but Rick has been fighting for at least 9-10 and lost a lot more people then hopper and technically somewhat became a killer to protect him, his kids, and group. If it was like hopper vs Andrea if would be a different story because she’s not all that. But if you were to compare someone like hopper to Rick, Daryl, or probably Maggie, they would if won immediately just like that. But in my opinion I like Rick better then hopper, but TWD is just the same thing over again but different season, when stranger things has different motives in every season. Rick is better but I don’t know if stranger things in general is better then TWD.and Rick has bad a lot more experience the hopper sense he is older, better, stronger, survived multiple wounds, and was fighting off more creatures the hopper will probably ever fight off.(no I’m not trying to start a fight so Please don’t. It’s just my opinion I didn’t expect this to get this long.)
