Examining Trump's legal battles with possible indictments coming in 2020 Georgia election probe

In Georgia, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has said she will announce charging decisions in the investigation into efforts to overturn the 2020 election in the coming months. Meanwhile, former President Donald Trump was set to be back in New York court Tuesday, albeit virtually, and is still facing a number of open investigations. CBS News investigative reporter Graham Kates has more.

In years in criminal law, I've seen a lot of defendants facing multiple counts in one indictment but never one person facing a half-dozen separate indictments/trials, each with multiple counts, and multiple sentences adding up to 30, 40, 50 years. That's brutal. I wouldn't think one person could survive it.

I'd like to hear what experts have to say about what jail looks like for Trump. He won't be near general population, he won't even be in a white collar crime country club prison with other inmates. Does the Secret Service rotate at some facility to guard him? Communications restricted? He needs a jump suit! The best place for him would be Ft. Leavenworth, he'd be safe there, so would we.

D.A. Fani Willis is throwing barbs at Trump with the anticipation that Trump begins trashing her. That would be provocation for a gage order placed on him when the indictment comes down.
