Newsom sued by conservative group over school closures

A conservative group is suing governor Gov. Gavin Newsom over his order barring most California schools from starting with in-person classes this fall. The Center for American Liberty said the order violates the state's constitutional guarantee to a basic education. The governor's office has not yet commented on the lawsuit.

That's not very thought out, all the schools I know of did online homeschooling crap. It sucked, the kids never did it or half assed it, but they have ACCESS to public education.

The only people doing this are the people that don’t want to deal with there children.kids are still learning with the material provided by the school.they are even loaning iPads that are connected to school district that way they can track the children’s progress for 3 years. Keep the future (our children)safe .hopefully by the end of the year doctors and scientists can figure something out as long as the healthcare system does not get overwhelmed by COVID cases we should be able to buy them some time.

Honestly, don't wanna offend anyone. But quiet honestly, theirs still people whom strongly believe that these pandemic it's a total hoax and that it won't get to them or their kids. Honestly, I'm extremely concerned. I have two kids of my own. I'm a single mother and trust me, I understand the importance of kids attending school, cuz I know it's major struggle having distance learning. My kids attend a Catholic School of which, is severely strict and give an excess of homework and my kids struggle with phase one during March trying too learn. Quiet honestly it's not the same of person too person interacting with the teachers as well as their fellow classmates. But unfortunately at this point we have no choice but obey by the orders of Governor Newson. Quiet understand both sides. We also gotta understand, that these virus is hitting hard every state and county in different ways. We must feel compassion for the kids, parents as well teacher and staff members. We cannot control others go about their business. The Governor, Mayor, Dr. Faucetti, Dr Bárbara Ferre. Can only speak and warns about these virus. We gotta put our own efforts for these virus too tone done. I know it's difficult for students too try too learn through distance learning. Seriously how are willing too put their Kids at risk, just cuz certain parents. Rather go too work and have their kids be exposed too how many different people. Quiet honestly, we all gotta work and pay bills and rent. Makes harder when we are a single parent and probably got know too trust too leave our kids with. Just gotta find a way or someone whom you can trust, that's willing too watch over your kids. Suing the Governor. Is not gonna make matters better. Know one ask for these virus. But we have too learn too work with each and united as Country. Pray too God that these Virus be gone. I hope and pray too God too help us change our ways and the way we see things and do things. Spread more love, patience and give each other a helping hand. Just remembered that Governor Newson is only looking out, for each everyone best intrance.
