I’m asthmatic & my mum & dad didn’t “believe” in inhalers. I nearly died on my 10th birthday, luckily my stepmother overruled my parents & took me to hospital. I’m not exaggerating when I say that she literally saved my life. I’m acutely aware that a lot of kids aren’t that lucky when it comes to stepparents. Thank you Lottie, 30yrs later & you’re still my hero, I love you so much ❤

Im watching my 4 year old play in the yard now. Shes so damn happy and innocent. All she wants to do is play and learn. I cannot imagine her being ripped out of our lives or to think of the fear this girl had before she was done so wrong. Hug and love your children every moment possibly. Life is too short.
