listen people. before you comment learn some history first. By writing crap you insult the Greek people. The Pontic Greeks had settled in the area they called Pontos around 1500 bce, the name Pontos is Greek and means in ancient Greek the point where the sea begins. The pyrihios war dance goes back over 4000 years, it was danced by the Athenians, the Spartans, and many other Greeks ancient Greek historians mention it often. Achileas the Greek hero in the war with the Trojans dance it with his warriors outside the Trojan gate before they went into battle. Greek history is vast, and Greeks settled in many areas in Europe, so stop writing bs.

This is amazing. Turks use the ancient Greek War Dance in their culture (Bicak Horonu)! This proves how deeply the Greek tradition has affected Turkish customs. Very interesting, thanks for the comment. Let's hope that this video will attract attention from both Greece and Turkey regarding common military aspects and history

Amazing! I thank you for continuing this tradition.
Though I doubt, if Pontic culture bases mainly on Greek origins.
Irish dances can't be called English.
Have you ever seen Georgian war dances?
Pontus has it's own Great culture. No matter, if it's descendants have shifted to a Hellenic or Turkic dialect.
I deeply respect the most honest people of Black Sea.
