Ukraine can hardly be said to “lose” 10, 000 drones per month when 90% of them are meant to be consumed as weapons.

Drones with cameras show men dying. It’s brutal watching someone in the last minutes of life.

Poorly Researched! Ukraine is pretty much gotten away from the Mavik. they have a whole cottage industry that is building these drones, the FPV drones in their homes and businesses

Seeing countless russian's carrying out quasi banzai charges on Chinese golf carts and motorcycles leads one to believe they didn't get the "Reducing casualties from the use of drones" memo.

Which drone can carry 113kg? I couldn't find a dji drone that can carry that much, max 50kg, which is around 110lb.

I read a book in the 70's, i can't remember the title now, 2024, about how wars would be fought in the future and it specifically predicted drones. unmanned aerial vehicles and cluster bombs.

These drones have made attack helicopters like apachi and Cobra almost redundant on the battlefield they're virtually carrying out the same task : , Give them more powerful bombs and they will have a huge advantage over the enemy

A vast country like Australia needs long -distance surveillance, which can most economically be delivered by drones.
Boeing and the RAAF are working on them.

This exact argument was made almost 30 years ago in Gundam Wing, when the mobile dolls were released into combat to surprising effectiveness and survivability. Bottom line is that youll always want people in control of who's doing the damage, but make no mistake: drones/dolls/UAVs, etc., was always going to ve the inevitable outcome.

A bunch of guys risking their lives to recover a drone?

Holy hell, gentleman. The Omnissiah is already here. Knowledge is power, flesh is weak. Blood for the Blood God. Skulls for the throne.

Terminator quote: It can't be bargained with, it can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel pity! Or remorse or fear and it absolutely will not stop!... ever... until you are dead

The USA drones are extremely expensive for the obvious reason of maximum profits. This has made them rarer than they should be for US ground forces. Therefore I think Ukraine has shown us that we need more than 20 million dollar drones which still have time lags between drone operators and the battlefield and this needs to be fixed. Preferably at the squad level. Even small surveillance drones are ten and twenty times the price tag Ukraine is using. This hurts the level of proficiency and speed up and down the services on the ground.

There was no reason at all to start this video with the history of airial combat. It added nothing.

Waiting for the video about Nuclear warfare that has a 5 minute intro on the caveman origin of fire.

The French utilized hot air balloons in the post-Napoleonic era as a means to gain a superior strategic view of battlefields, even going so far as to create the first official (but very short-lived) aerial unit in military history. That was the true beginning.

AI power anything seems foolish to me but particularly in warfare and use of force.

lol both sides are trying to minimize their casualties using drones but ironically it's probably increasing casualties for both sides

Signal jamming. AI to pre chart target locked into software on demand so jamming doesn't effect the flight path. Path not controlled by remote signal but by software impute. Perhaps window openings for occasional flight correction.
