Ah a scorpion. A light tank with a very decent road speed. Always fancied one instead of a car.

I was involved in the original speed trials and demonstrations with a pre-production Scorpion, military reg 01SP07 in 1971. It was fitted with an original Jag 4.2 engine (painted black & not governed).
On a section of the M6 it was clocked at 68mph.

If you are looking for a tank with stealth mode, then I recommend the German "Luchs".
It's really big, but you can't hear it in stealth mode. It can be 10 meters behind you with the engine running and you won't hear it. In basic training, they "surprised" us with it more than once at night.

it's quite ironic that the FV101 Scorpion is considered a light tank, while many Americans refer to the AMX10 rc as an armored car when it weighs almost 10 tons more than the FV101 (and has a gun of 105mm).
