The project should be stopped completely. The problem here in Louisiana is that the developers NEVER do enough to prevent horrible flooding in communities. Their interest is money. Not the Parish or city or its citizens. Officials should be held accountable for the flooding that occurs because of extremely poor judgement. That's how I lost my home in 2016. I lost everything that was dear to me. I don't care about furniture or material things but I lost everything I had of my daughter's who passed away in 2011. Top that off with the fact that the insurance screwed everyone over! Stop these developers from causing more destruction!
