And that's why I fell in love with the oxalis. They tell you right away when they need watering. As long as you water them enough, then there's no such thing as too much sun. My first oxalis was in a hanging basket in a very sunny spot in Arizona. I water that little fucker every single day in the summer and it thrived like crazy. It was flowering like mad. Its what got me to start my plant collection. 😊

Купила маленькие головочки и посадила их. Совсем забыла про них. А по весне стали всходить, думала что сорняк. Чашка большая, думаю пусть хоть зелень к Пасхе будет. Положила между растениями яичек. Как разросся, и начал цвести. Такая красота получилась. У меня зелёного цвета. Цветочки б/розовые. Очень

I'm glad that I'm not the only one that this season for the oxalis to go dormant in Australia 😂(well, mine hasn't completely gone dormant, it's less busher than previous winter and I thought it might have been the shock of moving, though in the new house, it's has the same condition as it precious had)

Was it water you gave to it or some vitamin coctail ?Even brown leaves got violet. Nice plant growed by happy human

Mine is about that size. I would not be able to keep up with watering, so I have it in a huge Lechuza self-watering pot. Love that thing. Prolific bloomer, too.

Your oxalis leaves are very big, purple in colour
In India we have oxalis plant with green leaves grows wild,
We don't grow as an ornamental plant.
