Restoring a Wedding Ring - Rose Gold Band

Mum has a rose gold wedding band that she damaged quite severely after getting it caught on a door handle. I've been meaning to do this for some time, but the idea of working with gold scared me slightly. It really shouldnt have. Show the ring a mallet and some polis, and it's as good as new again.
