Thank you. Yes I do use that and it works very well. I have a Larry Carlton patch that I use that effect on. It makes your humbucker pick-ups sound like a hollow body jazz guitar. Good stuff!!

You can use the Power Drive or the Tri-Amp models in the GT-100 for metal and High Gain stuff. Those are probably my most used pre-amps in the GT-100.

Glenn.. You mentioned that you play through a QSC speaker during live performances. Ive heard this is a pretty popular set up. How are you set up to run this? Do you use your GTs and HD plugged in directly? Any other amp's?

Yes, usually the QSC get's a monitor feed from our monitor board on the side of the stage. I go stereo direct out of the GT-100 to the PA and the guitar signal is fed back to me in the QSC monitor.

Is there a way to set my expression/volume pedal to turn up the gain on the preamp I'm using? I used to have a Fender Cyber Twin Amp with the midi foot controller and I would set one of my patches to the low side of gain, (where I liked to play in clean mode) then when I turn up volume pedal, it was control the gain. I would love to do this with my GT-100 or can I buy a separate expression pedal and have one for gain and leave my other pedal as a volume pedal?

Very cool demo after watching your videos im going this weekend to Gc and picking one of these up! Im super excited also have you messed around with the guitar mod that supposedly changes you pick up tone from say humbuckers to single coils, and vice versa ? Thanks

Gleen, do you know if it's possible for me to have a patch using my amp's drive channel and when I switch to another patch, it changes to my amp's clean channel and use an amp simulation from the GT100?

No but I wouldn't advise running the GT volume that high. It shouldn't have to be any higher than 2'oclock.
