Ohio State and TN Titans fan here. Glad to see Oregon join the B1G. Liked Oregon the moment Mariota joined and was bummed to have to root against them in the CFB Championship back in ‘14. Loved having Mariota lead my titans. Great for the sport!

So happy to have the Ducks join the BIG. I'm a life-long Buckeye and my child is off to U of O this fall. Exciting times indeed.

As a multi-school Big Ten alumnus (MA, PhD Wisconsin; BA Illinois; Certificate Penn State) I want to welcome you to the NCAA's Oldest Conference, founded in 1896. I'm sure you will enjoy the great rivalries. One important thing to note: rivalry trophies. The B1G has lots of them. The coolest: Paul Bunyan's Axe awarded to the winner of Wisconsin-Minnesota each year in a series that is the oldest in FBS (133 meetings starting in 1890), the longest continuous annual series (dating to 1907, missing only the 1906 game because President Roosevelt cancelled all rivalry games due to injuries and deaths), and as close a rivalry as any, with Wisconsin up 63-62-8). Have fun and visit Camp Randall if you can.

Finally! Joined a conference that actually loves Football. Not like the one we left that took money and wanted to be carried. Your back hurts after awhile

Welcome to the Big10, from a Hoosier, and Indianapolis resident you will love visiting our city for the Big10 Football Championship at Lucas Oil if you make that or come March for the Big10 Men's and Women's Basketball Championships you will get to see our great city. Hoosier hospitality will be on display. I got a good laugh (in a good way) out of your large Duck floating in our downtown canal during Big10 media days.

Got some goosebumps so it passes the test. Anytime you see that old track town shit you know you're doing it right.

I'm interested on how it affects the other sports. Certainly it affects the CFB landscape, but how does it affect soccer, softball, track, volleyball and other sports? ? ?

As a football fan, I am looking forward to the great match ups (that really should have taken place as non conf games instead of the lousy G5 games for the last 30 years). The B1G purist in me hates the demise of the PAC. I really dread the coming destruction of the ACC. But all that aside, I do have an "I hope" list for you and your compatriots from the west coast:
• I hope you will appreciate the Iowa Wave at Kinnick. It is a sobering experience.
• I hope your ears ring something awful after enduring the train whistles at Purdue.
• I hope you get a snow game someday be it at Minneapolis or East Lansing.
• I hope you can get in the spirit of Jump Around at Camp Randall.
• I certainly hope you get a raucous night game at a Happy Valley White Out.
• We already know you can kick the Suckeye's tails at their house. I hope you do it again this fall!
• And I plan to see you from my seat in section 14 at the BIG HOUSE!

Welcome to the B1G.
