Fun fact, at the right angle, a .50 cal can pen is-2 front plate. I accidentally killed one with p-47 by killing the driver of an injured is-2. Had to check protection analysis

Weird when you watch tank documentaries beyond WW2 they talk about range rather than penetration or angle isn't it?

Honestly other than the Tiger it sounds like most tank battles were fought face to face anyways.

It's understandable. You hit the barrel at that angle and the shell has to travel through like the entire length of the barrel making it act like a lot of armor. Not sure if it's realistic or not, kinda hilarious but totally legit

Tiger 131 in bovington was actually disabled by a trapping shot jamming the turret ring.

One Spot by the IS-7 have a 2004mm thick armor between the turret and the tub of the Tank so even a Helicopter Rocket anti Tank rocket cant penetrate it.... 👍 Thats how Tanks works ff yeah
