Arkham knight is that one game I never stop revisiting. There’s so much details to every location despite the city being so vast. If players could just stop gliding and take a good look at the environment, then one can appreciate the immense effort the game devs have put into it.

Edit: i think Gotham knight will not live up to Arkham Knight’s standard in terms of graphics and gameplay. I will miss Rocksteady for making the Arkham Games.

1:40 thats why your company is successful. One project studio is the best. Focus on one thing to make it the best. Not thinking money but thinking the fans. Respecting batman. Thats the main point. Please do a SUPERMAN GAME. ONLY YOU CAN DO IT. I WANNA FLY:)

Thank you, Rock Steady and Sefton Hill. They were all exceptional games and Arkham Asylum is my favorite game of all-time bar none. I just loved how they created that environment and all the characters. Great, great job.

The graphics in this game was amazing. I felt like I was constantly in a movie that was over 12 hours long! Loved the characters, voice actors, everything! I was actually pretty sad when the main story ended... Arkham Knight is the greatest game I have ever played and I really hope another one comes out soon!

There's one true ingredient to a great franchise, the developers has a real passion for what he's doing

Plus they're focusing on one at a time not pumping them out yearly

With how many details we're still finding in the Arkham games to this day, I can understand the MASSIVE workload that goes into them. I'm very grateful for everything we've gotten and do agree Knight feels like a natural end point, but I hope it's taken as a compliment that I would gladly taken more Arkham, both post and pre-Knight :)

Incredible incredible team! Programmers, animators, artists, and beyond!

This was nearly a perfect trilogy with each game getting better than the last.

Rocksteady has done an outstanding job with the Batman Arkham games 🙂! They have changed the Superhero games genre forever and how to develop awesome games . I have enjoyed playing all the Batman Arkham games.

I can’t wait for their Suicide Squad game . I wished they could have developed a Superman game .

Now... it’s time for Rocksteady to move on to the Suicide Squad and the Justice League

Rocksteady should make these games:

The Matrix, being great with combat fighting

Teen Titans, with the multiplayer in the campaign, even solo.

And Superman, just call it man of steel

I loved the entire arkham franchise. When Knight launched people at such high expectations they nit picked every flaw and at the time it was harshly criticised but today people have seen how low the bar can go so now Arkham Knight is looked back on with the respect it deserves.

THIS This is a game company with it's priorities in the right place.
Putting all their focus on one game at a time and not taking the piss when they're onto a good thing.
I can only imagine how much WB must have bitched, moaned and barked about their decision to not milk the fuck of of the series. (which lets face it, they totally could have done)
I will have a close eye on what RS decides to work on next because if this is how they work, i'm in with whatever their next project is.

I can't believe that this game gets hate for the pettiest of reasons. It, easily, has the best story in the series. My favourite thing about Batman is how he is always presented with temptations to give in to an easy immoral choice but through incredible mental strength and perseverance, he pulls through always. All the time. This is done in previous Batman games too but it's one of the central themes in Knight. The joker, in this game and within this universe from Batman's perspective, is characterized as this mercilessly terrifying sadistic and relentless force of evil that defies morals. And given what Joker's done to Batman in the Arkham verse and pretty much any other media, it's easy to believe given the uncompromising lengths of evil to get what he wants is a good representation of what Batman fears most. This image of Joker, Batman's polar opposite, who's killed and terrorised his closest allies and friends is constantly espousing ideas of what Batman should and shouldn't do. It's contextualised by the brilliant use of the plot device of the fear toxin having an extended effect. By this way, Rocksteady gave players a window into Batman's mind and what he is thinking about any given point in story. We know all the time what Batman's thinking about at any given moment. This level of personal connection with Batman is missing in all previous Arkham games. This is interactive storytelling at its best. We know what's going on inside the hood because his fears are being spoken aloud. This makes Batman incredibly human while still doing justice to his "extraordinary mortal among ordinary mortals" side of the character. It's in Batman's nature to be stoic brooding and refusing to give in to the immoral temptations that his villains, particularly the Joker, always confront him with. It's a story of overcoming fears with a great deal of perseverance and self control while being surrounded by situations that cause self-doubt. That makes Batman the hero he is and the story of Arkham Knight does that beautifully. I am surprised and flabbergasted by how well Rocksteady knows Batman that they were able to weave a story about Batman's perseverance and self-doubt. The story of good in people and in Batman and his strength required to outlast the forces of inward evils. Joker was Batman's fear and Scarecrow was the catalyst of that fear. I am surprised by how they managed to create a stoic but an emotional character in Batman better than previous games.
