Our weekly online conversations on the global consequences of Russia's war on Ukraine continued with a conversation with Dr. Alexandra Vacroux from Harvard University focused particularly on the economic consequences of the war in Russia and Ukraine.

Alexandra Vacroux is the Executive Director of Harvard University’s Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies. Alexandra lived in Moscow from 1992-2004, writing a dissertation on corruption in Russian pharmaceutical markets, working as a consultant and investment banker, and serving on the board of United Way Moscow. She currently teaches courses on the comparative politics of Eurasia and post-Soviet conflict.

The series is hosted by Cynthia Hooper, Associate Professor of History and head of Russian and Eastern European Studies at the College of the Holy Cross and Steven Barnes, Director of the Program in Russian and Eurasian Studies and Associate Professor in the Department of History and Art History.
