Testing Kashtira Boardbreaker Branded.

Hai. So one of the top 10 lists from last seasons rated was branded kashtira with boardbreakers. I decided to test the exact same list, and give my thoughts.

As a far worse player that tested the deck as well, and performed at around 55-60% winrate:
1) Kash cards are nice, they bait effect negation cards, and you can go into Verte much more easily. I hate that they add an extra brick in the deck (Birth) though.
2) The boardbreakers that have the most success for me are Super Poly and Dark Ruler. Super Poly requires though extra deck space.
3) I think there are too many bad draws in this list, even for 60. I get the appeal of Grass but I had multiple hands that lost to a veiler/imperm on my aluber/verte or an ash to my BraFu.
4) From all the 3 Gran targets that were mentioned, Proskenion felt the best. I also tried him with super poly and while I didn't get the aluber+desirae+silvera/IP fusion summon + getting rid of princess more than once, it felt good when it happened. It also makes gran a better "board breaker" (the baronne situation you mentioned).

Overall, the idea is neat. I think I would just switch some "bad draws" for more boardbreakers and starters.

Do you think branded invoked is possible, b/c there is this one invoked fusion that just banishes the opponents entire field and it seems pretty cool (not sure how practical it will be since if u normal summon alester you cant normal aluber)

Is luluwalilith better than quaeritis? I feel like if your albaz gets banished you can still go for quaeritis instead with your fusion spells

thanks for the insight. I think I still want the Nadir package over Kash. Kash isn't bad but doesn't synergize with Branded. Nadir isn't amazing but can at least pivot into Branded plays.
Secondly, starters for Branded are VERY limited. even if you play all copies of each (Aluber, Opening, Sarc, FB, Keeper, Kit, Branded Fusion) you're at 16 starters (which most lists barely play Kit and Keeper), and you heavely rely on your 2 card combos. In reality you want around 20 starters for about 87% chance to have one in your opening hand. 14 or so is like 30% chance to brick.
blah blah blah numbers and such. in the end, appreciate the insight to the Kash engine, just wanted to play devils advocate for a sec.
you're pretty goated in the Branded community for your 20 hour "brief study" so you have my respect.
