I had the CX-5 w/turbo. An excellent little SUV. Traded for a 24 Mustang GT. Will be looking at this CX 50 since I will not be driving the GT in the winter.

@AutomotiveWoman, please can you better explain how launch control works on a CX-50? Normally you would fully depress the braking pedal, then fully depress the gas pedal. Then you release the brake pedal and the car launches. Please can you provide more details on how launch control is done on a CX-50? Thank you.

250hp might sound a bit fast but it doesn't feel that fast. Maybe it's due to the size and weight of the vehicle. To really feel those horsies you might want to give the Mazda3 Hatchback with the same engine. I own a CX 50 Turbo and I love it. Price is just a bit higher than the CX 5 but it's worth it in my opinion.
