Congratulations, Ryo. It's a beautiful scape. I really like your restraint on this one. The cardinals and amano shrimp, good, classic choices. It seems that the judges like restrained livestock choices, dramatic hardscapes, and lush planting. Manten stone is probably my favorite as well because of the colors. I am glad you found joy while creating it.

Great tank Ryo, and amazing rock choice and angles really got the best 'faces'. One thing I would say, which I think affected your ranking, is the main stone is too central. If you shift it to the left that would have been perfect.

Iwagumis + cardinals or neons is just so relaxing to watch. For the clean-up crew, half a down of amano shrimps would just do fine. MD made a decent iwagumi using pearl weed and added sword tails and mollys it came out really well . BTW great escape Ryo 🤝

Very nice Iwagumi Ryo! Small critique— the shadows are “too black”. I can se from some video that there’s actually nice detail on the shadow faces, but it’s gotten eaten up and looks flat. You have to angle the father stone especially so that some details are visible in the shadow.

Those mountain stones are good stuff indeed, but your cardinal tetras are champ materials. May I ask what do you give them as food or is it secret? 🙂

Awesome! Small question: Do you have to photoshop out the ADA logo for the final photo to be submitted? They don't allow photoshopping obviously but I guess for this case it is permitted?
