Seth Rollins discusses resenting Cody Rhodes for headlining WrestleMania 39 | Out of Character

WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth “Freakin” Rollins joined Ryan Satin on episode 118 of “Out of Character” and discussed dealing with feelings of resentment as Cody Rhodes was in the main event match of WrestleMania 39 after being away with an injury. The Visionary also discussed the satisfaction of earning the WWE World Heavyweight Championship after putting in work while other superstars were away.

Seth being so bitter at Roman is ridiculous when the company chose him in the beginning giving him the title at 31 stealing the moment for Roman and the only reason he lost that spot is that he got injured. He came right back and won it back anyway, Seth and Roman are supposedly friends in real life and all he does is say that he doesn’t want to put it in the work, like Roman didn’t carry for 3 years. When Roman is on the screen I don’t wanna miss a second of it. Seth doesn’t even have a character rn he just laughs and ppl like his song. I have a hard time not fast forwarding when Seth has the microphone. When Roman talks I listen, when Seth talks I roll my eyes and change the channel. Seth is a better in ring performer for sure, but Roman is just the guy and is at his peak right now. Seth is on the decline. He peaked at mania 35 in the burn it down days. And with the Cody, I can definitely understand the resentment but clearly there’s a story they were telling and still are telling. Roman vs seth for the 400th time is not as interesting as Roman vs Cody was
